Research topics are related to the research projects of the team « Production, Environnement et Risque » (PER) of the unit SMART n° 1302.
They are mainly related to (1) risk assessment for market and production (climatic and sanitary adverse events), and (2) development of risk management tools to deal with systemic risks, in particular hybrid insurance contracts (such as revenue or margin contracts) and mutual funds (as designed in articles 38 and 39 of Regulation EU No 1305/2013.
Research develops, within Point 1, the issue of endogenous volatility possibly related to new investment vehicles on the OTC agricultural markets.
Research develops also, within Point 2, the potential need and the efficiency of public support to private instruments and public tools against catastrophic events.
